About The DLFA

The Dual Laminate Fabrication Association (DLFA) is a nonprofit organization established in 1993 to promote the use of dual laminate equipment (i.e. a corrosion resistant thermoplastic liner overwrapped with FRP reinforcement.) Our goal is to serve as an industry leader in providing access to industry standards, education, and connections between professionals that will promote and advance awareness of dual laminates and their capability for industry.

Dual Laminate Fabrication Association (DLFA) - About Us

The DLFA's Vision

Our vision is to provide our members, industry partners, and their customers with:

Standards for Design, Fabrication, and Materials

Starting in 1993 with the RTP-1, the DLFA helps develop criteria for construction design, fabrication, testing, and proper materials selection. This not only helps our members, but also their clients and all others outside the industry who may not have access to the same level of experience and expertise in dual laminates.

Technical Resources

The DLFA serves as a centralized resource for technical information associated with standards, material selection, fabrication, testing, and project profiles. Our members collaborate to bring design engineers the information and standards they need to determine when dual laminate equipment is the best solution.

Education and Assistance

Best practices ensure the market is updated on the latest advances in fabrication and corrosion resistant materials, and education and advice related to chemical resistance and design. Some of our members even provide training courses for specific aspects of the dual laminate fabrication process.

Awareness

We firmly believe in the value of dual laminate equipment across a host of applications. By raising awareness of its unique strengths and advantages, we hope to promote the use of dual-laminates across a wider variety of industries and use-cases.
